Learn More About Us

Cultural Activities are a specific extension of the language curriculum where children begin to acquire a sense of historical fact, classification of physical geography and an appreciation of cultural differences.

Practical Life

Practical Life is the study of self-help skills and focuses on the four major areas, Care of Self, Care of Environment, Grace and Courtesy, and Movement.

Sensorial uses a multi-sensory approach to education. Children are encouraged to learn by processing information gathered through the senses.

Math continues the cognitive math development that began in the Practical Life Skills and Sensorial curriculum, taking an acute focus and more abstract thinking process with concrete materials.

The Essentials

Our Mission

Montessori Academy, guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, immerses students in a diverse community that values creativity and nurtures each student’s social, emotional, and academic growth.

The process begins with your school tour to visit our school. Following your tour and meeting at our school, we invite you to observe one of our classrooms for 30 minutes to see how our certified Montessori instructors interact with our students. You’ll notice how well the children interact and self-direct their activities, sharing with others and learning at their own pace.

Parent Testimonials

“The school is truly a community. It really feels like a large extended family. I love the staff and the atmosphere as well as the fact that my older son was able to work to his own pace and level, resulting in him far exceeding traditional kindergarten materials during his kindergarten year. Academically, he is more than ready for first grade.”

Vania W. (Parent)

“My oldest daughter began at the school when she was just over 2 years old. She is now entering second grade, and our twin daughters are entering their second year of Children’s House. We are continually impressed with the staff, parent organization, events, and community of the school. Our girls love going to school each day and cherish the relationships they have built.”
